i cut off my hair in bagfuls so that you could get a good look and maybe i could see someone new. heaven is a 6 letter word and also what i can hold in between my thumb and index finger. in my dreams my hair reaches the ends of a bridal gown and you're in my house behind glass, applauding while i read my writing aloud. sometimes vanity gets the best of me and i have to pause. your sister runs into your room beats on your chest and says she deserves to be loved, you stand there like a brick wall. all of my friends make the girl of their dreams cum 3 times a week. everyone seems to tower over me like brick walls or teenagers on top of elementary schools, weighing down like public transportation and old facebook messages. "i miss thinking things were beautiful" 1:30am.
